Our Favorite Moments From The Sketchbook Series San Diego

What can I say? The Sketchbook Series last week in San Diego was an incredible time! We are honored to be a part of The Sketchbook Series 2016 tour and a part of helping Mary teach wedding professionals across the country how to bring their ideas to life.

We all know that creativity is kind of a beautiful mess. Ideas pop into your head (and sometimes they escape you) but, when that ah-ha moment happens, you want to capture it. And, more than that, you want to make sure that your couples more than "get" everything that you see so clearly in your mind - you want them to really see it. That's why being able to visually communicate all of your ideas can be such a game changer.

Getting to spend a day where the only thing on the to-do list was to draw was definitely a treat. But was so much more than that too! It was a day filled with laughter, creative inspiration, and personal growth as we all learned how to do something that some of us thought wasn't possible. At the end of the day, so many people couldn't believe that the sketches in their sketchbooks came from their hands!

• Watching Tayler spill a full tray of champagne

• Seeing everyone's favorite sketches from the day

A huge thank you to all of the San Diego creative professionals for all of the inspiration during class! There are still a few cities left for the 2016 tour (with some really amazing creative partners) and you definitely aren't going to want to miss out!
